Physical Education and Sport Premium
The government is currently providing funding of £320 million per annum to provide substantial primary school sports funding. The funding is jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and ensures monies go directly to primary school Head teachers to spend on improving the quality of Physical Education and Sport for every child.
Each school receives £16,000 plus an extra £10 per pupil each year.
This means that we receive £18,230 for All Saints Primary School.
Schools are required to spend the sport funding on improving their provision of Physical Education and Sport, but they have the freedom to choose how they do this. At All Saints Primary School, we are strongly committed to the delivery of High Quality Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity and recognise the contribution this makes to the health and well being of every child.

Sainsbury's Gold Sports Mark
We are delighted to announce that we have now achieved the Sainsbury's Gold Sports mark three years in a row, a great achievement. We continue to meet these requirements despite no awards being allocated in 2021. In 2021 - 2022 whilst ensuring that every child took part in after school or lunchtime clubs we won the Year 3/4 Collaborative Football Cup, The North West Leicestershire Boys and Girls Table Tennis Competitions, The North West Leicestershire Basketball Competition and the Leicester Riders Year 3/4 Basketball Championship.
