Goldilocks & The Three Bears

1st October 2016
On Tuesday in Key Stage One we had an unexpected visitor in the woods! We investigated the crime scene and discovered it was evidence left over from when Goldilocks broke into the 3 bears house and ate all their porridge. We then used this to write our own story of Goldilocks and the 3 bears and will be making the bears a new house next week.

Continuing with our Goldilocks and the Three Bears theme, our Y2 children made porridge in their maths lessons on Wednesday. They measured the ingredients using grams and millilitres accurately and  shared their porridge with the Year 1 children. They also carried out a survey to establish which was the favourite topping out of a selection including strawberry and blueberries, golden syrup, raisin and cinnamon, honey and more traditionally sugar!  The results of the survey were made into a bar chart using software on iPads and laptops.  The children's verdict was that the porridge was delicious!
